Question. I am 23 and will be getting married soon. My fiance doesn’t want to use a condom on our first night. I don’t want to get pregnant until one and half years after marriage. I have heard that contraceptive pills can harm. Also, what should I do to avoid pain on our first night? Please reply.

Answer. Ask your doctor about low dosage hormonal pills. They won’t harm you. After a few months on the tablet, consult your gynaecologist. For pain apply a small amount of Xylocaine gel 2% in and around your vagina, 20 minutes before sex and wipe off the excess.
